The project focused on showcasing artists and talent who use Spotify as a platform to curate their own personalized soundtracks to life. We decided it would be best to intertwine the intimate, everyday moments of Jenny’s life—creating, exercising, sleeping, and waking up—showcasing how music flows seamlessly through each of these experiences.

We approached the story with a holistic lens, focusing on the natural rhythms of daily life. By shooting on Super 16mm film, we were able to convey an organic, nostalgic feel that connected with the authenticity of the campaign. To further enhance the storytelling, we experimented with camera tricks that made the piece feel like a single fluid take, allowing the footage to tell the story without interruption.

The campaign visualized the idea of life as a constant flow of music, with every scene transitioning smoothly into the next. The use of Super 16mm film added a warm, cinematic quality to the footage, capturing the rawness and spontaneity of everyday moments. For the stills, we used 35mm photography and mixed media, layering textures and colors to complement the organic feel of the film.

The combination of film and photography created a cohesive, multi-dimensional narrative that resonated with Spotify’s audience.
